The BUDDY BOOKS are simple unillustrated stories marked with the pronunciation
code which contain only words with consonants and short vowels corresponding
to the pronunciation signs for short vowels in the Reading for Sure - System
Teaching Kit.
Pupils can practice and reinforce the new sounds by reading a related series of stories which begin with consonant, short vowel, consonant blends and gradually introduce more complex words and challenging vocabulary.

The POSSUM TALES are simple unillustrated stories marked with the pronunciation
code which contain only words with consonants and short and long vowels corresponding
to the pronunciation signs for the second section of the Reading for Sure
-System Teaching Kit .
Pupils can practice and reinforce the new sounds by reading related stories which gradually introduce more complex words and challenging vocabulary.

The GUMNUT STORIES are simple unillustrated stories which contain words with
all consonants and vowels corresponding to the pronunciation signs in the third
section of the Reading for Sure -System Teaching Kit .
Pupils can practice and reinforce the new sounds by reading a related series of stories, beginning with monosyllabic words and then gradually introduce more complex words and challenging vocabulary.
