We have been operating our Reading Clinics for more than 15 years. Over that time we have had thousands of clients, many with very serious reading difficulties. Sometimes these difficulties have been complicated by attention deficit disorders, or behaviour problems. In the vast majority of cases, there has been a significant improvement in reading abilities.
The following comments are just a small sample of the many pleasing reports we have received about the successes and progress of our students. It is very gratifying to know that so many people have benefited from our Reading for Sure program.

To whom it may concern My child has done 6 hours of reading with World Literacy International, Reading for Sure. Before my child started she couldn't read at her age group level. Now she is trying very hard to get everything correct. She can't wait to do her homework, for reading and school. I have noticed that she will now try hard words and either get them right or comes very close. This method not only helps with their spelling but their comprehension, story retelling and their writing. My child's writing has become more readable and it makes sense now compared to before. I would recommend this method to any parent who has a child with problems reading. Thank you MERRIWA WA 6030 |
In regards to the Reading for Sure program, I recently enrolled my two sons aged five and a half and eleven and a half for some extra help with their reading abilities. My older child is a professional child actor/ singer/dancer and with this he misses quite a lot of school due to rehearsal and show schedules. In the past I have used private tutors but never with the fantastic results achieved in just five weeks with the Solomon Method. He has jumped a year and a half with his reading, is comprehending better and now we hope to improve his spelling. My other son, while he could name all his letters, was unable to put them together and actually start reading, therefore he was becoming disinterested in the learning process. He has improved so much in such a short time and is now starting to enjoy his books and has so much more confidence in his own ability. A big 'thank you' goes to your staff for their patience, vitality and the excitement of learning they have brought to my children. Also many thanks to the people that developed this wonderful program. With thanks |
Dear Dr Solomon, Sorry we have not bee in touch for so long. We have not been able to get away from Kalgoorlie much at all it has been so busy. G* and R* are going really well thanks to your kick start. R* was recently assessed at school and at 7 years and 2 months of age her reading age was 7 yrs and one month! She is now enthusiastic about reading and writing and no longer hides under the table when the books come out - instead she leaves me notes all over the house! Anyway here are your books back and we hope to be in touch with you again about getting more help for reading in Kalgoorlie. I am continuing to recommend you to my patients and I was delighted to see that D* had organised for you to speak to the Perth Paediatricians. Yours truly, |
As our association is ending for the time being, I would like to say how much my daughter and I have appreciated your help over the last six months. When we approached you in October last year, my daughter had lost confidence in her ability to learn to read. Now, with the excellent program offered by Reading for Sure, and your warm and encouraging style of teaching, she is reading at a level beyond her age (as tested by yourself) and enjoys writing in a way I would not have believed only a short time ago. One of the features of your teaching that I feel has significance is that you actively encourage the 'sounding out’ of words. This appears to be in contrast to the 'school' system where the emphasis is on 'sight' reading. I am just glad we found you when we did! Thank you again. Yours sincerely |
Dear C* (tutor) It has been astonishing and delightful to see S* improve his reading skills in such a short space of time. T* and I see this improvement as entirely attributable to you, your teaching techniques and your calm but firm temperament. With S*'s increased ability to read and comprehend, his attitude to reading has changed to the extent that he now will at random and of his own volition choose to read a book for pleasure. This gives him (and us) so much more confidence in his ability to tackle many other tasks which may or may not be related to reading skills. Our entire family has benefited from this and has become much less stressed because of S*'s willingness rather than reluctance to do homework! Thank you for your efforts and persistence with S*. He will most definitely miss your tuition but has seen his own improvement and now accepts his further progress is up to him. Tony and I believe our "investment" in your tuition of S* has been well worth it and has provided him with more than just the ability to read at a comfortable level. It has shown him how valuable reading is to his life we are sure this in itself will stand him in good stead for his future. Good luck and best wishes always. |
To Whom It May Concern C* (tutor) for the past 6 months has been teaching my daughter A* who is 8 years old and is year 3. A*'s progress has improved so much, not only her reading, writing and spelling but most of all her confidence. This is not just because her spelling and reading has improved it is namely for the fact that she is given so much attention to her pupil and works very hard to give them encouragement. A* has finished the Reading For Sure System Teaching Kit, but we still have a tutor come once a week to continue tutoring A* in comprehension, spelling and grammar so that A* won't forget what she has learnt. I would recommend the Solomon Method to anyone. Tracy S* |
(In English - translated from Indonesian): This program is very good for a student who is "afraid of English, shamed of his/her English, or cannot speak English. The way the teachers encourage students to learn English must be maintained, if necessary, to be improved. I was helped after my son involved in this program. Before, he didn't want to study English but now he is happy to do it. I hope this program will continue. Thank you. Anton S*, father of Christophorus S*, 13.9 years old - Jakarta, Indonesia |
(In English - translated from Indonesian): Thank you to Solomon College of English who have taught English to our son. Our son is now improved in his English. We suggested that Solomon College of English is socialized throughout Indonesia so that all children have a good knowledge of English. (In English - translated from Indonesian): My comment about Solomon College of English is that the lesson is pleasing and the teachers are kind. When they taught us, it was easy to understand and could help me in doing my school exam. I hope that Solomon College of English will continue to be exists in our Pangudi Luhur School. Thank you, Christophorus K* (Christophorus K* is a second grade student at Pangudi Luhur Junior High School, 13.9 years old) |
